Black Owned Friday
For the 4th iteration of Google’s Black-owned Friday campaign, we teamed up with Keke Palmer to transform Crystal Waters’ 90s hit “100% Pure Love” into “100% Black Owned,” an anthem for Black entrepreneurs across the country (and their fans) to use to promote their businesses during the holiday season. We got a special Black Friday shoutout on the Google homepage, and our Midtown Manhattan OOH pointed people to some of NYC’s finest Black-owned businesses near them. And, following my launch tweet about the campaign, Keke Palmer followed me on Twitter. No one calls it X.
